So we took down the wall between the Kitchen and the Dining Room. It was a support wall, so with a little help from our dear friend Mitch, we did it! Jim put the new header in the attic, and away it went. We also have a new limestone tile floor. What a job! It looks super. Thanks Mitch, and thanks Jim for all the sweat.
The zipwall came in very handy!
And that very heavy butcher block needed a car jack, and several stages to finish the floor.
